However, only a highly trained hypnotist can engage in the practice.

Although a high number of people respond to hypnosis, it does not work for everyone. However, evidence also suggests that confidence in the technique is also a key determinant of the rate of success. As such, it is not possible to hypnotize and individual who is not willing.
