The Canon Powershot A2200 has a 4x wide (comparable to 28mm) wide zoom, terrific for family and group photos, or to capture a lovely beach or tropical sunset. At 14.1 megapixels it delivers sharp, crisp, amazing images and with the flick of a switch, it records HD video.
It has a terrific attribute which I really like. You can shut off the noise, flash and AF Beam in peaceful locations. Great for when you're snapping away at a wedding and do not wish to disrupt anybody.
I discussed prior to about taking the Canon Powershot A2200 to the beach. One function I can't live without is the macro mode. It allows me to get truly close up and get gorgeous pictures of the little details, like seashells, crabs, the complex appeal of the sandy beaches, etc. No have to even look through the viewfinder when getting close up. Just look at the large, simple to see LCD display.
It isn't really best ...
The Canon Powershot A2200 isn't really without faults. I suspect for the terrific low price that it's offered for, it can't have everything. If you want to link it to your TV, the cord is sold independently. Not a big deal as it's quite cheap, however you do need to remember to obtain it. If you want elegant attributes like shooting panoramas, then this camera is not for you.
All in all, without a doubt it has the best feature set of all the cameras in this cost variety. I shopped around a great deal and am rather particular about images and features in a camera and the Canon Powershot A2200 beat the competitors. Low cost, easy to use, terrific functions and easy to carry. Battery life is fantastic as it makes use of a Lithium-Ion battery.
