It would be also good for lactating horses. Many breeders and farmers would feed lucerne to lactating horses as it would have galactagogue properties. These properties would help induce lactation. This forage would also contain high calcium, high calories, and high protein that would help them produce high quality milk.

Such cubes will contain high energy density too. It will provide a nice source of energy. This will be nice for growing, racing, lactating, and gestating horses.

Feeders would find this convenient as well. Handling their shape is easier. Less mess would be also incurred. Wastage can be then prevented. Storage would be also easy. Less storage space would be needed then.

You may have to soak this before you feed this. Soaking would be needed for horses that would have chewing difficulties. Horses who have experience with choking would also need soaked feeds.
