6 Simple Steps For A Fun Photo Booth

By Mark Hall

Set up in a visible location. When the party photo booth is somewhere everyone can see it, it is more likely to be used. It could be set up near the entrance or next to the refreshments which are places everyone will visit. If there is going to be a booth it should be somewhere noticeable so that it will be used.

The party photo booth should have an attractive sign. The sign will identify what the booth is for and if there's a charge for having the photo taken or to print it. People are more likely to get their picture taken if they know the details about why it is there.

When there is a charge for participating it makes sense to charge for the photo to be printed rather than to get the picture taken. This will remove the concern that they may have about not liking the photo and allow them to choose afterwards to buy it. It may be fun to print an album of all the pictures.

It should be an attractive booth. It should stand out at the party by being attractive or interesting in some way. Getting basic pictures taken it may be good to have a black backdrop, but for a party the booth should have something festive about it.

Make the booth have a theme. A theme will make the booth more interesting and exciting which is desirable for it as an attraction at a party. A couple examples are a romantic theme, party hats for a birthday, using props like a baby doll at a baby shower.

The photographer should be excited about their job, be animated, and be social. The excitement the photographer exhibits will be caught by those having their picture taken.
