Finding The Best California Chamber Orchestra Concerts

By John Barnes

Many people have heard community orchestras play, and it is easy to be impressed by their overall sound and technical skill if you haven't heard a lot of live music like this before, or if you haven't even really listened to recordings very much, so you're not aware of the musical potential and how it can really sound. That is why some people have such an incredible first experience attending a California Chamber Orchestra concert, since they are a group of the best professionals around. You might just have your mind blown by how beautiful the sounds are, and you might have never thought that a group of those instruments could sound quite like that.

It is great when something that you are helping to support by attending concerts and donating is a thing that gives good work for real professional musicians. In this day and age, it might be hard to find the kind of work that you want in California, as the popularity of chamber orchestras is not what it used to be. When there is a very popular group like this that a quality performer can get into if she or he is diligent and good enough, it is a very nice thing indeed.

There are generally four concerts that this group holds every year. You will definitely want to check out when those dates are so that you can plan ahead and book your tickets well in advance. You never know how soon things like these are going to sell out, and with their current popularity, the good seats are bound to be gone if you wait around until the last minute, not to mention the chance that something will come up if you don't solidly make these plans as early as possible.

If you're trying to catch one of these shows, the place you are probably looking for would be the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. This is the place where most of these concerts are held. It is very rare that they do shows in other places, but it does happen.

When an ensemble is smaller, it holds certain advantages over the bigger ones. This type of group is one of the smaller ones with, give or take, twenty people in it. This is a lot smaller than symphonies or philharmonics.

A great thing about this group is they play all the kinds of music you would expect them to. This ranges from early Baroque into Classical. What some people don't expect is the range of contemporary music that they work in as well.

This might be an excellent way to break the ice on a first date. You will find yourself talking for hours if you start the night off with this kind of music. It is amazing how much beautiful music can help people open up, and it can really bring out the best in people as well, making it easy for young lovers to find things in common.

It is great when you can get a big group of people to go to these concerts. That way, you are helping to support this wonderful ensemble. It also makes it so you can all go out and discuss what you heard afterward.
