Enhanced Summer Parties Include Moon Bounce Rental And Other Outdoor Games

By Kevin Adams

Excitement begins with the advent of sunny days and clear weather. The end of winter has arrived and the anticipation of outdoor activities is at maximum. The beautiful weather pushes many people into planning for events with family and friends that take place in parks, backyards, and beaches. Events such as bar-b-ques, picnics, and birthday parties are great places for outdoor games. Since most people don't own all the equipment needed, renting inflatables and other games makes planning easy.

There's a very popular rental that gives many hours of excitement to kids. The Moon Bounce Rental tends to spike in the clear weather parts of the year. The inflatable bouncy house is sturdy and can accommodate quite a few children at once. In fact, most are strong enough to handle a few teenagers. There are usually ropes and stakes to help secure it to the ground to prevent it from moving around.

Tunnels are fun for everyone. Even popular restaurants and play houses include them for children to play in. Including these in a weekend of fun is a must. The outdoor versions are typically inflatable making them easy to setup and take down when the party is over. Though they're sized for kids and teens, adults can often be found squirming they're way through the tunnels.

Ball pits come in all sizes. Many families with toddlers find themselves left out of the bigger games for bigger kids. Fortunately, ball pits come in toddler size and some even have tunnels attached. Of course, they also come in the larger sizes for older kids, teens, and even adults. The largest size may include padded board sides to be sturdier for bigger kids.

Ring toss and bean bag games test your skills. Bean bag toss games generally have two boards that are slanted with one or more holes worth points. Boards have decorations such as bullseyes and even sport team logos. The ring toss games have several posts to catch the rings. Since these are games of skill the competitive spirit comes out as friends and family members test their aim.

Oversized games are popular with teens and adults. There are several types of games such as chess and checkers. Larger versions of twister are also available for groups. Other games that are larger versions of popular indoor board and group games such as Jenga and Connect Four.

Badminton and volleyball are great group games. The nets can be setup by pushing the poles into the ground and using rope to secure them in place. Some of the poles are attached to wheel rims to make them more mobile. Either set can be left in place for extended weekend fun. These can often be found on the beaches for group fun.

Just a little preparation can provide hours of summer fun. Any time there is an up-coming outdoor event or holiday it is important to reserve the equipment weeks ahead. Though bar-b-ques, picnics, and beach trips can be fun on their own, adding outdoor and backyard games to the mix enhances the fun greatly and tends to keep everyone entertained longer.
