However, errors in the use of screen print should not be taken lightly. That is because they could result in the harm of the brand identity especially if not identified on time. This could lead to a substantial loss of money on your business. Thus, to avoid this, here are some common mistakes that printers make that you should strive to avoid.

You should be careful not to use a lot of ink. It is therefore advised that you test the ink first on several sheets of paper so as to ensure it is of the right quality. Once you find out that the ink is too much, you should the use less pressure to avoid using a lot of ink on the product.

Too little ink is also another matter of concern. You should try printing on a soft base. If you are printing of seams and collars, try using plate covered in a neoprene fabric. Additionally, it could be that the scene you are using s clogged. If this is the case, rub the underside using a wet towel and then you screen test paint or two to help it clear out.

Make sure the client has seen the samples and approved before you get into the full printing of the final copies. Simple mistakes like misspelling a word can cost you a lot if you have to undo the whole print because of that. Prove read your work and let the client also confirm that everything is as it is supposed to be.Be careful with the art and make sure your colors are right.

The other mistake that people do is not to take the time to master the squeegee angle mastering of the position of the squeegee takes practice and experiment. Once you have found the right angle, strive to be consistent. The strokes that you use are also essential. Therefore you need to turn the screw and ensure that it is tight. If it is lost, the screen might be loose in the bracket of the press. At the same time, ensure that the plate has enough adhesive to stop the shirt from moving.

If you take care of these possible mistakes and make sure they do not happen, then your work will be quality. Since practice makes perfect, you will have problems only when you are starting, but with time you will realize you have mastered the art. That way you will be sure you can produce something that is perfect.
