Doing this before you break into the character you supposed to audition for will get you the attention that you need. Although some judges might be very hard to entertain, you should not give up.

Avoid being irritating to the judges. It can cause you a chance to land a role in the play. You should stick to the instructions that you has been given to you. If you want to go out of context, it should be a critical reason. For instance, you can go out of context when you are trying to build up a character in a way that will impress the judges. Otherwise, do not try to gain the recognition of the judges.

When going for the auditions, make sure you have memorized the lines. It is relevant because it is the best way for you to get the final role. Dressing up for the auditions may be a way of getting all the attention you need from the judges. Practice regularly for the auditions before the actual day of the final.

Make sure that the resume that outlines your experiences is well filled and ready. It is important because it will be used by the panel to know what you can do. Avoid using false information. Directors and judges may disqualify you if the information that you have provided is wrong. The information that you provide should be precise and straight forward.

Make sure you have the information about the authors of the script that you will perform. The judges may ask you some question regarding the act that you are performing. They expect you to have some knowledge about the acting industry. Most judges are impressed with the little details.
