Procedure To Perfect Abstract Watercolor Painting

Painting is an all-time exciting activity and requires some professionalism to make it more perfect and appealing. The common requirements to in this activity are a paint brush, a piece of watercolor paper and at least one hour of your time. These equipment aids in ensuring that an individual transforms his or her ideas into that beautiful and colorful abstract art. Abstract watercolor painting cannot be carried out just from nowhere, one will need guidelines which should guide you in coming out with a masterpiece of a creation.

At first, use a pencil to draw simple shapes on watercolor paper. The choice of the shapes to use will be determined by you love for objects and what you want the end product to look like. Secondly, make some addition shapes which should be simple using a pencil. Try connecting the already drawn shapes with the new ones. In a way it can be confusing hence the two shapes should be distinguished from each other by use of different colors. Once you have drawn the simple basic shapes, use the watercolors from the tubes or the watercolors in a pan. Your choice will be determined by your budget.

The clear lid of watercolor case will lift up becoming a watercolor palette. In this case, you can now mix the colors. A plain white paper can be used behind the palette since it is clear. This makes it easier to see these colors mixing. After you are through with the painting allow the leftover paint to dry on the palette and eventually close it. This is done if one plans to reuse the already mixed colors later.

Afterwards, take a small brush and choose a particular color. By the color of your choice, paint a selected shapes on your paper. Once you have filled in some few shapes, select another color and place it next to the initial one on the palette. Mix the two colors using a brush. Using the new color attained from the mixing, fill a few shapes.

For instance if the outcome color was orange attained from red and yellow, add some white color to lighten it up. Do not mix all the paint together, following our example, leave some orange and red just in case you need them again. Use the new pale ochre color and fill some more shapes. You moved from red to orange and now ochre, try out darker. Mix brown and red on the palette. Now use the brown paint to finish the rest of the shapes.
