The monuments men book is a treasure hunt story based on a mission to recover stolen pieces of art. The book is based on a movie which will be hit the screens later in the year. From the talk in the streets, the movie is likely to be one huge hit. This is mainly because it boosts an array of movie stars. The story line is also great. The books takes into account a number of stories collected from several generations.

The story book primarily aims at shedding some light about a number of things. Since the story revolves around a treasure hunt of precious jewels, cultural clashes are brought into light. There are a number of groups of armed men sent to reclaim the stolen jewels. The jewels are of great value the two societies in picture. This brings us to the First World War. Later, the Second World War is also brought into the picture.

The movie is produced by the finest production houses in the world. Columbia Pictures and 20 Century Cinemas pull resources together in order to bring the best out of the story. The production houses collect an array of finest actors on earth. These characters bring the best into acting. The setting and the scope of scenes also contribute into this fine story.

The plot is basically based on one of the best treasure hunts in history. The treasure hunt could be actually argued to be the best in history of modern times as the events unfold. The drama mainly focuses on the events of Second World War. The men in battlefields were entrusted with saving the precious pieces of art from the enemy. They had to fight from various corners in order to regain what was rightfully theirs.

The hunting plot gets thick as the fine, young men venture into the unknowns. The enemy lays there waiting with his equally cunning group of soldiers. He uses a couple of tricks to beat the army. A number of young men are lured into leaking classified material about the operation. This also calls for covering up of tracks.

The plot thickens after soldiers realize that some of them are traitors. New strategies had to be devised. This happens in a very complicated way such the enemy falls for the tricks. In the end, the traitors fall for the bait. Then they are ashamed and prosecuted as the drama gets to a climax. The enemy is captured and the pieces of jewels recovered.

The author of story had several lessons in mind during the scripting of the story. Loyalty is one of the main lessons in story. The author employs a couple of tricks to bring out the finest of the story. The characters also aid in furthering the agenda of the author. The drama is made livelier by changing the setting from scene to scene.

The monuments men book has a very complicated storyline. This calls for a very mature audience so as grasp the twists and turns. Critical and sober is also required in analysis of the story. The setting seems out of scope of young audience mainly because of the complicated plot.
