Muscle and fat make up the two areas that receive the most attention regarding how healthy an individual may be.

A person's weight does not necessarily determine their health. A person may weight a certain number that reflects more muscle than fat. Body mass index is an important calculation that is important to know. It is a number that calculates how much body fat is contained within the body. If there is a high percentage of fat, then the individual will have to lose a certain amount of weight to achieve a healthier body.

A person's cardio respiratory condition is another important aspect of overall health. Having a healthy heart and lungs will determine the level of exercise that can be performed. Individuals that have poor health in these areas do not have the capacity to endure exercise. Endurance cannot be achieved if the lungs and heart are not in good health.

Muscle strength is another indicator of how fit an individual may be. Good endurance allows the muscles to work well over an extended period of time. And muscle strength indicates the amount of stress the muscles can tolerate. A test that determines muscle endurance is counting the number push-ups an individual perform in an allotted period of time, without stopping. A test involving weightlifting will indicate how strong the person is.

Flexibility is another important test. Flexibility indicates how fit someone is and how elastic their muscles are. There are several different ways to test flexibility. The elasticity of an individual's muscles is important to prevent injury.

Fitness Marietta training involves a comprehensive approach to getting the body into good condition. A healthy mind and body causes a person to be balanced in every part of their life. It is essential to have a healthy diet and exercise to stay in good shape. Making sure that the body receives the right amount of nutrients is vital while working out. There are many physical trainers that understand how to create a diet and exercise plan for their clientele.
