By Jenny Greg

For music lovers who need to hear an enormous variety of music in a large range of locales, there?s no necessity to travel all round the country; you can experience it all in Columbus! Concert venues in Columbus are wonderfully diverse, catering to all ages and every taste possible. From cool, intimate bars to supersized, spectacular arenas, Columbus has what concert goers are looking out for! Here are the top music locations that Columbus has to give.

Newport Music Hall

Newport Music Hall is, without any question, one of the most respected and delightful concert locales in Columbus. This consequential music hall was initially an opera house when it was made in the 1920s, and the building still retains lots of the character from that time, even though it has long since become one of the most popular rock clubs in Columbus. The venue holds about 1200 folk, and yet it feels intimate and warm.

Woodlands Tavern

Woodlands Tavern is a great bar and onstage music venue that allows visitors to check out some of the city's best local and regional acts. One more plus is Woodlands' location, which is removed from the busy downtown and campus areas, providing a calming, friendly atmosphere for music fans. As an added bonus, Happy Hour at the Woods offers $2 draft beers on the great outside patio, making it presumably the best "bang for your buck" of all Columbus concert locations.

Lifestyle Communities Pavilion

Lifestyle Communities Pavilion is a dearly loved Columbus concert venue with a hip feel, and it features some of the coolest acts in the business. Approach to life is actually two locations in one, with both an inside and outside section. The fans gets in the flesh with the performers in this intimate setting. The acoustics are incredible, and there isn?t a horrible seat to be found, whether you are inside or out.

Columbus Crew Stadium

Columbus Crew Stadium might be first and foremost a sports locale, but it is also one of the best concert locations in Columbus. This stunning facility is simple to find, has lots of parking, provides an inviting family atmosphere, and notwithstanding its huge size, features fantastic views from all around the stadium. Here's where heavy hitters of the music world come to play in Columbus.

Rumba Cafe

One of the best kept methods in Columbus, this cool blues, soul, and jazz bar is really a gem. The Rumba Cafe has a great energy and attracts a diverse crowd of both neighbors and visitors of all ages. There is a nice dance floor, and it's put to some good use, as the bands at the Rumba Cafe will surely get the feet moving! Here, the focus is squarely on the music, though the locale also has a full bar and a chilled patio.
