The Diversity Of Arts Effects On Society

With the existence of many art forms in the world these days, making a distinction among them is tough. Many years ago, the use of several elements and media gave birth to many masterpieces. At present, many more forms are created, revived and transformed. In spite of the several changes, arts effect on society has always been the same as the one in the past. For several years that passed, art has remained true with its goal and that is to amuse its viewers through its different forms and styles.

Get a glimpse of two of the main classes of art forms that have changed and evolved through time. The first class is known as the visual arts. It takes advantage of numerous media wherein the emotions and feelings of its artists are being sent across. Under this category is sculptures, paintings, and architecture. After several years, impressionism, surrealism, cubism and other types of movements were introduced by its founders.

Moreover, visual arts can be determined as follows. Drawing is the first of its kind wherein a representation of an object using the hand along with pencils, pens, charcoal and many more. They do not necessarily represent the things in our surroundings because it can be abstract. Being like that means it illustrates the emotions and ideas of artists. Anyone is free to create drawings depending on their skills and preferences.

In addition to the classifications of visual arts are paintings. They can vary from abstract, pop, still life, seascapes, and even landscapes. A variety of mediums in the making of these paintings like watercolors, pastels, oil colors and paint. A sculpture, which is a piece having three dimensions is another notable classifications that are mostly made using wood, stone and also clay.

One more addition to the list is known as calligraphy. Letters are written beautifully as this form is being executed by its artist. A specially made pen or brush with flat nibs dipped in paint is used. There are many styles in calligraphy that can inspire artists following a period of practice and training.

The last one under the visual class is photography wherein it focuses on the production of images of objects. Different kinds of lights are used in capturing those images. There are different genres of photography such as fashion, wildlife and even food photography.

Performing arts is the second class that appears to be more enjoyable for larger audiences. The reason is that movements are used in the execution of this from, not only images. Dance is a major category under this where dancers make use of body movements in expressing their emotions.

Another notable category under this class is singing. It is executed with a mixture of sounds and voices to create songs that are pleasing to listeners. The last type is the theater and film wherein dances and singing are joined together in creating amazing operas, plays and films.

Artworks are created to communicate with an audience even if people give out different interpretations about it. Arts effect on society may vary from its different elements. However, it has always stayed true to its main role and that is to inspire and communicate with its audience.
