The Many Benefits Of Engaging In Midwest Hip Hop Dancing

The different types of dance including Midwest hip hop is not only entertaining but also has a positive effect on the mind and body as well. This particular style of dancing was developed in the 70s by members of the African and Latin Americans as a variation of the native dance moves and music from their country of origin. Two types of this dance is either choreographed or freestyle.

One positive result of dancing hip hop is the emergence of toner and firmer muscles. This is due in part to the lively and upbeat music which is a combination of disco and break dancing. Thus, the participants in the routine is also expected to follow the pace of the music and make movements such as the popular popping and locking.

These particular movements involve flexing and jerking of the arms, the legs, the shoulders, and the upper body in tune with the music. Thus, the contraction of almost all muscle groups are encouraged. This results to the improvement of tone and more definition of the muscles. It also firms and strengthen the groups.

Another benefits the dancers can get from engaging into the activity is the development of firmer and stronger contractors in the heart and also the lungs. Studies have shown that rigorous movements tend t increase the heartbeat and the rate of the pulse. The dancing has the same effect to the heart and the lungs as to all other parts of the body.

This is because these organs are composed mostly of muscles. This dance has since been elevated from just plain entertaining to a very useful cardiovascular exercise. Good blood circulation is promoted, as well as the strengthening of the organs that protect it from contacting diseases early.

Aside from becoming healthy, the person who is performing regular hip hop dances also has improved agility and balance. They also improve the coordination of their hands, feet, and the rest of the body. What makes the dance exciting is the incorporation of break dance moves in the routine. Moves in hip hop that has roots in break dance includes the execution of hand stands, flipping, and head and body spin. Balance and coordination are required for these moves.

There are people who were born with hip hop in their bones. These are the kinds that needed no coaching and instruction when it comes to dancing to the beat of the music. These are same persons who are good in free lance routine.

However, there is also most of the dancers who does not have the gift at first but had developed the craft through time and constant practice. They are the ones that require a professional to train them through the various steps and help them polish their moves. Once they are familiar with the moves, they develop easily the traits of balance, agility, and coordination.

Aside from health benefits, the dancers also achieve the feeling of fulfillment once every routine is done. The major factor that influenced this is the knowledge that the action has promoted a healthy lifestyle and well being. The feeling of satisfaction starts once the dancer engaged in Midwest hip hop has improved their coordination and balance, and is sure to be agile enough to execute all moves properly.
