Make Those Graduation Moments Last

By Teresa Port

Graduation day, arguably the most momentous day in a person's existence, is always a day to treasure and reminisce. Different people celebrate this auspicious event in various ways, from grand graduation parties to a quiet family dinner. How ever the day is celebrated, neither abundant amounts of food nor non-stop partying can capture the true spirit of that day. That is why Singapore graduates, and graduates from all over the globe as well, capture the spirit by having a photo studio portrait taken.

Anyone can attest that seeing themselves wearing a graduation gown in a perfect graduation picture brings back tender memories of schooldays past. That is, if the photograph is perfect. Otherwise, this portrait will be found tucked beneath a pile of linen in a cupboard somewhere in the house. A perfect picture can bring back good memories so graduates today never take chances. A photographer in Singapore is always hired to take graduation photos.

It's true that anybody with a camera can shoot a photo of a person dressed in a graduation gown, but to do it flawlessly is a different matter altogether. To take a flawless photograph, certain skills are needed. Knowing proper lighting techniques, right digital camera angles, and proper posing can spell the difference between a good photo and a bad one. Photograph editing know how is also imperative to iron out slight imperfections. These are just some of the benefits of hiring a professional photographer to take your graduation picture.

Come graduation season, professional photographers are usually swamped with clients so it's frequently hard to get one if you start searching late. If you're fortunate enough to get one, chances are that professional photographer will have too many clients and will not give you the attention to detail that's required to take a stunning photo. What people would usually do is they get their portraits done before hand, sometimes even several weeks before the actual graduation. Yet there are some who also have their portraits taken after graduation, just to make sure that it is done perfectly.

Graduation day is, and will always be, a day to remember. It triggers nostalgia in people, and not at all fails to bring a smile to those who recall that day, even years after. A perfectly taken portrait will reinforce those happy memorable events and make sure that they last perpetually.
