Abstract watercolor painting involves use of colors that is water based pass information or a thought to people who look at it. It involves drawing of lines that bring out a unique image. Talented artists have two things that make them successful and they include improving and learning all the important skills needed. This is because the activity is as simple as people see it, but calls for more training and practice until one is perfect.

For ages artists have been using the art to make many images like portraits. They not only did it on papers, but also canvas, leather, plastics and wood. Basics should be learned, especially by beginners as they help them in their work. They help in giving techniques of drawing clear images that can pass message to viewers. They also explain various styles that are useful in artwork.

Blending of various colors is an important factor in artwork and every artist should have complete knowledge in that. This involves knowing the color that you will make after mixing different colors. One should understand that a mistake in blending will definitely give a different color from what you wanted. It is therefore important to use techniques and be accurate when mixing colors as these are the key subject when it comes to artwork.

One of the important things is that this paint is removed through washing or scrubbing, although the expensive papers are the ones that apply this formula. Their heavy weight makes them firm when scrubbing and cannot fold easily. Cheap paper tend to be light and cannot withstand the scrubbing, instead fold damaging your work. Always go for the quality paper to get good and reliable services and avoid troubles.

Small mistakes are usually removed easily using eraser or utility knife. However, one should be careful when planning the colors to use in order to prevent dark and muddy areas, which are hard to remove. Always begin using light colors then use the darker ones carefully. When the paint is still wet, mistakes can be washed easily and go on with the work.

Use of watercolors is versatile since they work with pen, ink, pastels and other paints that are water based. The biggest challenge when using this type of paint is learning to it to avoid muddy appearance on your work. Try to first use transparent colors as washes and they include cobalt blue, aureollin yellow and alizarin crimson. This will help you make many interesting effects.

Another good thing about this art is the portability of the watercolor, a good factor in case the artist travels places. The colors are usually packed in sets and have small containers and brushes for mixing. One only needs pencil, a towel and more containers when traveling in order to continue doing the work while still in your journey.

Additionally, the colors are non-flammable, odorless, and non-toxic, dry quickly and dissolve more easily in water, not forgetting they are disposable. To develop art work together with artists, abstract watercolor painting should be appreciated. This will motivate them as well as encourage them to come up with more quality work.
