Finding The Correct Easter Play Scripts For Your Church Troupe

Easter is an important festival for all Christians. It is the time of the year when we are reminded about the crucifixion and also the triumph that the Lord Jesus had over death. There are various Easter play scripts which you could choose for this Easter. God is immortal and man is only meant to do the wishes of God. It also tells us that we are indebted to the will of sll people around us.

This festival mainly depicts the portion of the life of our Savior Jesus, when He is nearing the end of life on Earth. It deals with the aspect of social life where interdependence and continuance of life is subjected to various things and have differing values for different people. Putting up a drama which tells us the entire story can be daunting. However, it is also thrilling.

The Savior gets ready for his departure from worldly life and expresses himself clearly at the Last Supper to his disciples. He speaks of the bread being His body and the Wine being his blood. This symbolism is the basis of the sacrament which we commit ourselves to. We are granted absolution from our sins and eternal life through the Holy Communion.

People celebrate this day with get-togethers and feasts. It is mainly a family festival with all the members of a given family getting together and committing themselves to the continuance of Christian faith in the name of our Blessed Savior. The day thus is special for the members who partake in the celebrations and it helps to strengthen the family ties.

Crucifixion and death of Jesus the Lord on a Cross is followed by His resurrection. This happens on the third day and is the one after the Sabbath. It gives us the promise of eternal life if one is willing to follow the Savior. Happiness comes when one realizes that he or she is granted absolution and eternal life if one will follow Jesus Christ. To renew the faith and keep ourselves on course with the promised life, we celebrate this holy day.

The actual day is not fixed as it is only defined as the first Sunday that falls after full-moon day that is after the vernal equinox of the northern hemisphere. Since the equinox falls on March 21, the celebrations would fall in the days following this. This season is also linked to Passover a festival that celebrates the exodus of the Egyptians from Egypt.

Scripts are varied and some of them deal with the scene on Calvary Hill where the Cross bears witness to the life of a great man who is our Lord and Savior. There is another scene where Jesus is seen to come to Jerusalem in time to prepare for his Last Supper. The Resurrection is the theme for most plays and inspires lot of people.

Children will have a lot of fun choosing the Easter play scripts that they want to stage. The significance of this victory that the Lord had over the grave is enacted here. The script must be one that is simple to follow and easy to enact. The school event will certainly be a success if you make the correct choice.
