Review Of The Hunger Games Movie

By Jennifer Smith

When you happen to be examining this review it may be simply because you actually are a fan of the book series The Hunger Games or perhaps you want an inside scoop in of whether this movie is worth watching in a cinema. Let me get this straight, but in this Hunger Games movie review you will not be hearing much criticisms from me since I am a big fan of the book and I personally loved the film. I really believe that the effort of Suzanne Collins' screenplay and Gary Ross' direction are the winning blend for the success of this movie because both of them had a superb combination.

Many people feel that the collaboration of Suzanne Collins' screenplay and Gary Ross' direction was really a succeeding formula for this first installation of the Hunger Games movie sequence to come. The fact that Suzanne Collins decided to write the screenplay adaptation, in my opinion, produced a major difference for this movie. When a writer gets as greatly involved as this in a movie, it heightens the chances that the significant and the most important scenes within the book won't be removed. She could bring essential times, responses and discussions and place them around the movie, could be not really in the same order as what is in the book but the best plot of the movie is still there.

The opening scenario per se was enough to seize anyone from their seating. It would really leave you breathless seeing Katniss to volunteer in behalf of her sister Prim. It is portrayed really well and all the heart wrenching words in the book is being included as well.

Another thing which I think would make this movie a blockbuster is the great casting of the movie. The casting director did a really admirable job in searching out the complete appropriate actors for the movie script characters. Woody Harrelson's portrayal as the alcoholic retired victor is just right. Not surprisingly, Jennifer Lawrence was totally wonderful as Katniss Everdeen, she totally represented the heroin of the book perfectly.

If you are worrying about the physical violence on the games, you can stop worrying because the violence in the movie is not well manifested. In short it has less violence, but still you need to expect a little violence from. In some people's judgment this may be discouraging but don't be disheartened because through this small violence you will feel different emotions that will make you scream, cry, and shout.

I believe that this film will be admired by many people across the globe and may even exceed the achievement of the most famous films of all time. This movie has everything you ever need for, great storyline, great casting and acting, great effects, and many more.
