Sharing a funny youtube video is definitely an exciting thing to do when amongst friends. It's a good way to break the ice, share experiences and of course laugh to the point of insanity.
The easy thing to do is go on youtube and start clicking away to find some laughs but not many wonder about how those videos got there in the first place or how easy/difficult they were to shoot. Starting with your interests first, would be a good idea. What do you like? Are you a performer? Do you write? Brainstorm your personal interests along with things that you are good at especially with the things that you know how to do very well. Once you've gathered a good amount of topics and ideas, then it's time to storyboard or wing the whole thing.
To make a video, a camera is a necessity. For youtube, any camera will do-even if it's a point and shoot. Just make sure you know how to extract the video from the camera you are using. The better quality cameras would be optimal but as long as there is good lighting and sound-you're set. Remember, your audience needs to be able to see and hear the video clearly in order to L.O.L. Timing is important too. You do not want your video to drag on. Keep it short and sweet. Next, call up a couple of friends and have blast shooting your funny youtube video!
