Outdoor movies can also be enjoyed in the fall or winter, which makes for the perfect family get together. Denver provides a great place to enjoy a relaxing day or a tranquil evening to watch an excellent movie. As a rejuvenating social activity it is sure to grow in popularity for people, especially after a hard day at work.

If you have not experienced the fun of watching a film outdoors, grab some blankets and a drink, and perhaps some of your friends, and give it a try. Film On The Rocks is one of Denver's primary summer event, and you can enjoy watching blockbuster films in the city's Red Rocks.

In addition to the actual film, you is able to enjoy competitions, audience participation and a band or comedian. Families can hang out together with friends. Enjoy the summer evening under the stars as three great films are shown that are suitable for every age.

Pack a picnic, but make sure you get there early to ensure a good spot on the grass amphitheater. Skyline Park is another of Denver's pride and joys. Films are screened regularly, and the best part is they're all free to attend. Free films are also shown at the Skyline Park, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants to enjoy a meal in.

The venue is the perfect place to finish off a day spent sightseeing in Denver's Golden Triangle museum area, or the 16th Street mall. The city's different neighborhood parks also show outdoor films, as part of the Movies in the Parks program, which aims to bring together the various communities of the city.

The bond of Denver communities is strengthened with this regular get together of the residents, while they watch their favorite films. And let us not forget Denver's new Infinity Park at Glendale, where it's possible to enjoy an awesome evening of summer, with free films on the massive Jumbo Tron.
