A Real Family

By Anne Wiley

Blood is thicker than water, we have heard these famed words time and again, but what exactly do people mean by it? We know that this expression refers to family, and a literal understanding would state that our bond with our immediate family is superior to any other relationship that we could ever build with other individuals outside of it.

However, most people would probably agree that this is not always the situation, because sometimes, we also develop strong bonds with people who are not blood related to us, take for example your best friend, or your innermost circle of friends, they are the people whom we consider as being on the same wavelength as us, the people we turn to when we need someone to listen and a shoulder to lean on, the people who regard us as if we are truly "family".

With all these conflicting notions, what does "being family" really mean? The answer is quite simple, family is where you feel most at home, surrounded by the people who love you unconditionally, regardless of whether you are blood related or not. Finding something as special as this is a priceless present, something that we must all treasure and hold close to our hearts.

Through a family portrait, you can do just that, these special photo shoots enable you to document those special moments with your one of a kind family and have something to remember everyone by, even if you are miles from each other. So whenever the opportunity arises for a complete family photo, do not miss the chance to preserve this precious memory forever, proceed to a trusted photo studio now, and celebrate your time with family.

Your family portraits, can then serve as an excellent centerpiece for your living space, a stunning attention grabber or topic starter whenever you have guests, and a constant reminder of that distinct bond that you share with each person in the picture. In the fleeting time that we are given here on earth, these are some of the most simple things that we should not fail to value.
