The 360 controller for Xbox is controller used to play the Xbox 360 gaming console. Manufactured by Microsoft, this is a seventh era gaming console. Its key rivals include the play station 3, built by Sony, and the latest console by Nintendo, the Wii.

The console was officially released on November 22 2005 on MTV. At this time, there are five different variations of your console. The latest model is the 360 S and was released in June 2010. One other versions incorporate the Elite, Pro, Arcade and Core versions.

However, Microsoft stopped manufacture of each one of these versions except the S version. The reason being the majority of the previous ones experienced technical problems generally referred to as Red-colored Ring of Death. The issue got serious to a point where Micromart, the biggest repair center within the U. K., said it was receiving over 2500 consoles for repair each day. This number was only within the U. K. It was forced to abandon fixing the consoles as it was not able to fully rectify the issues. It was only offering temporary solutions and soon after, the machines began causing problems again.

Just like most consoles, the Xbox controller has its own exceptional structure. They come in a number of distinctive colors. Wired controllers, or pads, only come in black and white. On the other hand, the wireless controllers are available in distinct shades, depending within the kind of console one purchased. The S edition has black ones.

The wireless controllers use either standard AA batteries or rechargeable batteries. The rechargeable batteries last 25 gaming hours before running out of charge. The recharging period is roughly about two hours.

For people who love first person shooting games, they can choose to get modded pads. These types of 360 controller for Xbox are characterized in two major groups.
