Jumping House Music

By Tamera Owens

It's been a long work week and finally it's Friday evening. Have you figured out what you and your friends will be doing?

Are you in the mood for some rocking music as well as dancing? If so, have you considered a house music location?

House music has its roots in Chicago in the early eighties. You'll be dancing the night away to some good music that blends funk, soul as well as disco flair. It features a four on the floor rhythm and beat; so if you like a strong bass beat, you're really going to enjoy it!

If you have not been to a house music venue, chances are you might have heard house music. If you have listened to any tracks by Kylie Minogue, Cyndi Lauper,, or even Enigma, then you've heard house music. Numerous popular DJs have sampled, mixed, and layered house beats as well, including Adonis.

House music isn't just a Chicago craze. As a matter of fact, whether you're from Australia or the UK, chances are that you've danced to and enjoyed house music. Also, no doubt you've already heard of the single most notorious house music DJs of all, Paul Oakenfeld. He served to introduce and distribute this wonderful music all throughout Britain, providing people overseas the flavor of American beats.

There are many cross-over styles of house music right now. A few of these styles include tech house, electro house, and fidget house. Many artists and DJs led to this crossover fusion music.

Many DJs take popular top 40's music and include them to their spinning tracks so don't be taken aback if you hear songs in the top 40's while you're dancing in a club. Even if your group of friends and you each have different tastes, you will probably all delight in house music venues.

If you and your friends like crazy beats, hot dancing, and just overall having an amazing time, then let your fingers get to Googling and find a club providing house music near you this weekend!
