The Best in Spherical Panorama Photos of Areas Around the World - Republic of France

By Lucy House

I have shot a good number of spherical panoramas in the Republic of France over the last few years, including the city of Paris. Those unfamiliar to these types of panoramas, allow me to explain. A spherical panorama is a 360-degree pano that allows for a viewer to click and drag the panorama image in any direction.

The country of better said Republic of France is located in western Europe and borders the following countries: Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco, Andorra, and Spain. The republic includes the territory of France, which also includes a number of overseas territories and islands.

I love France. I grew up (partially) in this amazing country. Much is to offer in terms of culture as well as business and education. During the recent years that my wife and I have traveled to this republic, I have gone out of my way to capture spherical panoramas of some of the nation's most beautiful landscapes.

Over the last 500 years France has been a major influence and power with a lot of cultural and economic influence in the area of Europe, as well as the world. During the 1600's and the 1700's, France ruled across territories of all kinds, including parts of North America and Asia. In fact, during the 1800's and part of the 1900's, France was considered one of the largest empires in the world!

The republic runs an impressive military. The armed forces include the French Army, Navy and Air Force as well as the so-called "National Gendarmerie." The French Air Force is the oldest in the world, and the 4th largest in NATO. Like the United States of America, the President of the republic is the commander of the armed forces. France is also a permanent member of the Security Council of the United Nations.

France is a wonderful destination for tourists of all kinds, including those like me that explore territories for the purpose of photography, including the capturing of spherical panoramas. Those that travel to France can gain quick access to other parts of Europe via an incredible network of public transportation.

Panoramic photography through spherical panoramas is a great way to display French spaces of all kinds, including interiors. My next visit will include interiors of all kinds, including cathedrals and museums. Consider learning a French word or two and locals will likely be more willing to offer a helping hand.
