Interesting Information About No 10 Envelopes

By Laura B Olson

Many tools are used in the everyday office, such as staplers, paper clips and no 10 envelopes. Inventory is always kept of each supply because when the quantity gets to a certain point, it is a good sign that it needs to be replenished. Some supplies are used more often than others, requiring frequent stocking and resupplying. Offices might have very large storage units or there might just be a simple closet in one corner where everything is kept. Any extra items or special supplies can always be ordered online.

Office supplies can be found in physical stores and online every day. Since the days of notebooks and pencils, we have added many new technological devices that we hope will make our workday easier to get through. The equipment that is needed for an office to run in todays world can seem overwhelming. From collators to scanners to printers and computers, an office employee must have a good deal of knowledge about technology to successfully run or work in an office atmosphere.

There are scanners, printers and computers, just to name a few. Today, everything has become electronic and digital. Many companies have become paperless, eliminating the need for many paper products. This is done in an effort to encourage environmental awareness. The less paper that is used, the more trees are saved.

Many businesses have gone paperless, converting all of the documents they used to write on paper to handheld computers and organizers. This, in conjunction with recycling, has made a big impact on environmental awareness. Email has replaced a lot of the envelopes that are being used in offices today and fax machines have nearly eliminated a further need for these paper products.

Recycling has done a lot for businesses that wish to become environmentally friendly by using less paper and products that might produce waste. Paper is being shredded in some of the larger companies and sent to large factories where the paper is recycled.

No ten envelopes may seem like a thing of the past. However, until people completely stop writing letters, they will always be bought and sold. Cutting back on our use of paper is a real and necessary thing in the fight for the safety and well-being of our planet.
