Ramesh Sippy, who purchased the distribution rights for 'Singham' remarked that Ajay is one of the few actors in Hindi film industry who denies to be typecast and that he continues experimenting with different genres of films. Right through his film career, Ajay Devgan has offered commercially successful movies at the box office at a consistent rate. Ramesh Sippy has also added that his experimentation in the genre of comedy in films like Athithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Golmaal and recently out Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji is a proof that he can manage any type of role.
Besides investing his time in films, Ajay is also involved in many other activities. Recent reports state that he is thinking to invest in a solar power project in Gujarat. Roha Group of Mumbai is said to have associated with Ajay in the 25mw solar project, which is calculated to come around Rs 400 crore.
