Individuals who could afford one would have to an extensive search to find it. This is because consumer electronic stores would rarely sell such an item.

However, they are now accessible to almost any consumer. Most of them are built to specifications that best accompany a home theater environment. Their light amplification is much higher than in the past to provide more light for a potentially dark living room setting. The new units are also smaller and lighter than they were to potentially fit any room needs.

Companies have made many technological advances. For example, the broadcast quality has greatly improved. And there have been improvements in the screen projection size. This makes them a perfect choice for sports events, video games and for cinema.

Prices are better now than ever before. The price of most of the popular units is very similar to the price of other visual technology available for home use. In addition, manufacturer warranties are far more developed than they were in the past.
