Low-Budget, High Class Bridal Photography

By Jodi Maynard

I was chatting to a couple lately and they are what I'd call "natural lovers." They simply know the way to love genuinely. They tease and laugh and joke and talk naturally like they could go on doing it without end. It was inspiring. There was a real sanction on my part for their decision to tie the knot shortly.

But both of them come from humble backgrounds and both possess the young romanticism to make it on their own. Remarkable. Even in the shoe string budget, I side with them that the bride deserves a decent bridal photography, as it is her ritual of passing from singleness to a union that will stand through time and without end.

This came from them, honestly. When a lot of people are convincing them to reserve doing business with a competent photographer for the wedding day itself and just set aside the bridal photography to associates and volunteers, they could not be influenced. The lovely couple said, they might not have an elaborate function, but they positively prefer to put money into the photographs, together with bridal photography.

I could not blame them. I'd have decided the same way. Bridal photography is a tender manifestation of the life a maiden lays before the palms of her selected partner and companion. Elegance must be revealed not just from the outside but more importantly from the bride's heart. Again, no trumpet blast, no costumes, no heavy make up is required. In my approach to bridal photography, all I ever call for is really a bride who has in her heart the confidence, the understanding, along with the unchanging way towards marrying that one man.

So, a white picket fence, one or two green grass on the foreground, a pink t-shirt, as well as the unremitting and delicate breeze of cool daybreak air brushing against her cheek-- those were all I needed for a heaven-inspired bridal photography in a shoe string.
