Your First Ghost Hunt.

By Joe Davies

If you are interested in the paranormal and the unknown, a ghost hunt is a great night out, if you think you can handle the unknown. It's a scary night but very fun, and definitely not for the faint of heart.

On a ghost tour you will definitely learn a thing or two about hunting ghosts. You can book a tour on line on one of the many tour providers websites, or if you prefer you can call and book it. There are lots of places available to go from big haunted cottages to scary forests. You will need to check with the ghost tour company if the tour will be suitable for you and who you are going with.

You'll definitely learn a thing or two about ghost hunting with the professional equipment used including cameras, EMF, and some non-technical equipment also. You may want to bring along some of your own equipment also, depending on how much of a ghost hunting enthusiast you are.

The first thing that may happen is the ghost hunting team leaders will speak to the owners of the building or area. This may be a very open interview, and all the hunting team will be able to listen in and ask questions. Knowing more about the place will prepare you for the hunt ahead.

Then the equipment will be set up in the various locations of the building, usually in each room, and photographs will be taken to see if there is anything on the photographs that the eye cannot see. Also there will be recordings made to see if there is any strange noises recorded that was not heard at the time.

A ghost hunt night is usually a long and interesting night and some sightings or strange happenings will usually occur, given the situation, some of the team may imagine seeing or hearing things, or they may actually see something. Finding out what is all part of the fun.
